Organisational structure

Grain Orana Alliance (GOA) is a Not for Profit Incorporated association established in 2009. GOA operates under the Standard Rules of Associations with a few amendments concerning structure of the Board. A copy of the Standard rules of Association is available from the NSW Fair Trading website. Click Here

Membership is open to anybody and joining the organisation is as simple as attending an annual general meeting and paying a nominal annual membership as is legislated by law. Notification of the AGM is by newspaper and GOA’s current contact lists. But you don’t have to be a member to be involved with GOA and benefit from their work. You just need to be involved and key to this is to attend the FGM’s.  To ensure you are one GOA’s contact list to know when and where the FGM’s are click here

The organisation is governed by an annually elected Board of eight members. Amendments to the Standard Rules have been made to ensure there is a minimum of two growers represented on the Board and that all Board members are local people with the local industry’s betterment at heart. The board members provide an interface between GOA & the industry. Current Board members can be seen by clicking here

Operational running of GOA is the responsibility of the Chief Executive Officer, currently Maurie Street.
