Grain Orana Alliance (GOA) invites growers, agronomists and advisors to attend a
Vetch Agronomy Focus Day. The field walk and in-paddock workshop will visit two locations and address the opportunities and challenges of vetch in the farming system, covering vetch agronomy, variety selection and local trial data.
Site 1: Binginbar Farms, Gollan
The Simpson Family of Binginbar Farms at Gollan are currently managing 1200ha of vetch across grazing, hay and grain production.
Site 2: NSW Pulse Project Research Site, Wongarbon
The event will conclude at the vetch variety trial (part of the GRDC NSW Pulse Project) hosted by Maurie annd Kate Street, and managed by GOA.
During this field walk and workshop, you’ll hear from:

Friday 18th Sept 2026, 8am for an 8:30am start. Finished by 12:30pm.
No cost to attend. Coffee cart and morning tea provided.
